WEDDING QUESTIONS
Planning your wedding photography comes with a lot of questions, and we’re here to make the process as smooth as possible. From understanding the costs and what’s included in each package to how we handle equipment, locations, and timing, this FAQ section is designed to answer your most common concerns.
How Would You Describe Your Photography Style?
My #photographystyle is primarily #photojournalistic and #classical. Living and primarily working in the #Tahoe Region, most of, if not all, my clients want to show off their location in their wedding pictures. The best way to do that is to understand how to expose for people in beautiful scenes and making that happen is a point at which you see the difference from a #pro to an amateur.

Do I need to make a deposit?
Yes, all bookings require minimum of a 20% deposit (sometimes 50%) to reserve a shoot date. All deposits are typically non-refundable and exceptions to the rule are considered on a case by case basis. Wedding and event bookings require 50% payment within 6 months of the event date, and the final balance paid 7 days before the event.
Family and couple sessions require a 20% deposit, or $100 to reserve a date, and final payment can be made up until the day of the shoot.
What about make-up?

How Much Do You Edit Your Photos?
The question about post-processing is an important one. The short answer is, “minimally”. The long answer is this: I shoot RAW, which means my camera creates a file similar to that of a negative in film terms. It’s a file format that holds tons of information that most computers and/or devices require special software to read.

What equipment do you use?
I mostly photograph with Canon full frame cameras (R5, R6mkii) and occasionally with a Sony camera as well. I work with two cameras on me so I'm always ready to capture those precious fleeting moments.
Lenses I like to use:
35mm 1.4
50mm 1.2
85mm 1.2
16-35mm 2.8
135mm 1.8
100mm macro 2.8
24mm 1.4
How much will it cost?
Our wedding package prices commonly range from $2,000 - $6,000, depending on time and deliverables. Shorter photo sessions for families and couples start at $500. Please reference the Investment page for prices.
