This is Finn. He's a German-Shepherd/Belgian Malinois hybrid. He's very large and the best watch dog one could have. He routinely chases bears away from our trash cans and only rarely comes running back with his tail between his legs. We don't encourage this behavior. He just slips out between our legs as I try to scare the bear away myself. Bears don't care about me but they'll run up a tree when Finn comes bareling out the door. He pulls on the leash, hops like a deer through tall grass, and loves it when we throw him pine cones. He's harry, sheds constatnly, and his urin kills the grass. He let's baby Caleb take his toys and is very careful to run away from the baby so he doens't accidentally hurt him. And we love him :).
